DETERMINE™ HIV Screening Test
The DETERMINE™ HIV Screening Test is a qualitative immunoassay using the lateral flow principle for the simultaneous detection of free HIV-1 p24 antigen (Ag) without immune complex and antibodies (Ab) against HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human plasma and serum samples or in capillary and venous whole blood. The test can be evaluated after only 20 minutes. This makes Abbott's rapid test perfect for HIV screening directly at the point of care and minimizes the number of undetected cases.
