Our goal with this gas tank skid plate was to create the strongest, smoothest replacement system which locks together with our transfer case and engine skid plate. They are all designed to work with either our long arm system or our HD cross member.

If you are using our gas tank skid plate as an OEM replacement and do Not need the full skid plates, add COR-4108200. This bracket allows you to connect this gas tank skid plate to your stock cross member.

If you are installing in conjunction with our long arm system, some cutting of the skid plate is required for fitment including needing to remove one mount.

Notes:

  1. Design to be used in conjunction with our main transfer case skid plate and either HD or 3 piece long arm cross member.
  2. Please note this item(s) ships bare metal out of a box! Cosmetic damage e.g. surface rust or scratches may result during shipping and items would Not be considered damaged, or eligible for a return/replacement or compensation.
  3. Cosmetic damage will Not affect the performance of the actual product, however, If you would like to avoid these minor cosmetic issues please feel Free to email us for a freight quote and we can arrange product shipment on a pallet.

So I grabbed the Purple Glow. Some of the pictures threw me off. And I realize now those partially translucent pics are to show you how it fits. ::face palm:: I was surprised at how well this fits and it makes the remote bigger so for my med-large hands it is great. I was surprised how I liked the fit. Now at first I thought I was sent the Lilac Purple. Because mine was not glowing at all after sitting in my living room for a few hours. I took a HIGH lumen LED light and shined it on one side and went into the closet and it glowed-ish. So irradiated the thing and then it glowed pretty well. I have seen items like this that whatever is used to make things glow fade over time. I wish there was a manufacturer date on these. I know they can make the unit and print out a new sticker. So you just never know. I sent it back for an exchange. I do want it to glow. So we will see. However, if it does not glow I will keep it. Since it is the best fitting and easy to take remote out to change battery. I have had floppy covers (so useless) and super snug ones that fit perfectly but for me were a pain to on and peel off.
