You can find many books on this subject.Georgia, Ira and James of Yo La Tengo are exceptions to this rule, and Popular Songs, their 12th (or 14th, depending on what and how you count) album is the proof. Because when this new and dramatically unimproved world puts the hard questions to Yo La Tengo, they go Socratic as hell, swaggeringly, reassuringly, honestly telling us that all they know is they know nothing. They do not know why that sunbeam comes through the window when you are determined to sulk; they do not know just how are we going to make it, anyway?
Down to their fingernails, Yo La Tengo understand that the dichotomy has never been love & hate—this life is about love & fear. And fear makes you run and hide, sit on your ass, do nothing but be consumed by it. To restate the obvious, Yo La Tengo are not afraid. They walk bravely forward, into the unknown, hand in hand. And 12 (or 14) albums in, they may just be hitting their stride.

Good option for people that carry a lot with them

Very pretty purse for a dressy occasion. I always carry a lot of stuff with me and this actually can fit it. The option to be able to unfold the top to give it more room to put stuff in is fantastic! I love the 2 different strap options as well. It comes in a nice drawstring bag for storage. Very happy with this purchase.

Cute Look, Mid-Shelf Build

This purse looks like it’s going to impress — that woven pattern gives off designer energy without the designer price. In reality, it’s more of a lightweight, occasional-use accessory than a daily driver.
The suede-style material is soft and easy on the eyes, but it isn’t exactly robust. The structure feels thin, and the bag doesn’t have much internal organization. Think “carry the essentials to dinner,” not “load this up and hit a full day at the office.” The gold accent is cute, but again, decorative more than durable.
For the price, it’s fine for a night out, a holiday party, or when you want something small and polished. But if you’re looking for longevity or any kind of everyday functionality, this stays firmly in the fashion-over-function category.
