BD's roots, however, actually date back to 1972, when Valley Fuel Injection, Ltd. first opened its doors. Today, Valley Fuel Injection and BD Diesel Performance are one, with eight specialty divisions that focus on diesel power train components: Fuel Injection Calibration Department, Exhaust Brake Manufacturing, Electronic Circuit Design and Assembly, Transmission and Torque Converter Design and Remanufacturing, Turbocharger Design, Installation and Research and Development. Wears out more quickly than standard versions

While my puppy loved this bone and it was a good starter toy, it didn't last long. Our lab puppy loves to chew - especially when we stuffed the ends on this bone. After about 1.5 months of moderate use, she ended up chewing off and swallowing a small chunk of this bone, which she thankfully passed without issue. The material of this bone is intentionally softer than other kong toys, so it breaks down easier, and you will need to inspect it for wear more frequently. We have since upgraded to the large super chewer version for her, and she still loves it.
