Product Description
EnergiLass Rumen Booster is formulated for preconditioning, stressed, shipped-in feeder cattle, or cattle in sick pens on tall types of rations. Rumen Booster can also be offered to cows and heifers during the breeding season, to dairy calves at weaning and stressed dairy cows.
Features & Benefits
High energy
Molasses and added fat results in a very high level of sugar and energy. This high sugar level and the licking action needed for consumption increase saliva production. This, in turn, may improve the rumen environment which could improve forage digestion.
Highly palatable
The high level of molasses solids and fat make for a highly palatable product. The licking action along with saliva produced softens the top 1/4 inch of the block allowing limited consumption. When this thin layer is consumed the animals must wait for the next layer of the block to soften before they can consume additional product.
Continuous protein delivery
As pastures mature, forage quality can decline. Supplementing with protein allows the rumen to better digest mature forages.
Thiamine and B vitamins
Thiamine and B vitamins are known to stimulate intake of cattle under stress.
Added salt
Salt encourages supplement and water intake, both important in stressed calves. Also helps maintain electrolyte balance.
Yeast products
Yeast products have beneficial effects on intake, rumen function, and overall gut health.
Trace mineral amino acid complexes
Trace mineral amino acid complexes are more bioavailable compared to inorganic trace minerals.
Trace minerals and vitamins
Formulated to provide trace minerals and vitamins to help support optimal animal health and performance.
