Installation Guide

  1. Ensure the engine is off and cool before beginning service work. Gather all tools and components from the kit.
  2. Locate the oil filter on your Suzuki outboard and remove the old filter using an appropriate oil filter wrench. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly.
  3. Lubricate the gasket on the new oil filter (16510-96J00/16510-96J10) with fresh engine oil and hand-tighten it onto the engine.
  4. Remove the old fuel filter (typically located along the fuel line) by disconnecting fuel lines carefully. Install the new fuel filter (15412-93J10) ensuring correct flow direction.
  5. Drain the lower unit gear oil by removing the drain and vent screws. Replace both lower unit drain gaskets (09168-10034) on the drain and vent plugs.
  6. Using the included gear oil pump (24OP149), refill the lower unit with the manufacturer-recommended gear oil until it flows from the upper vent hole.
  7. Install the vent screw first with its new gasket, then install the drain screw with its new gasket. Tighten both to specification.
  8. Replace the gasket (09168-12012) on any additional component as specified in your engine's service manual.
  9. Start the engine and check for leaks around all newly installed filters and gaskets. Monitor oil pressure.
  10. Run the engine at idle for several minutes and recheck all connections and fluid levels.
  11. Dispose of used oil, filters, and gaskets in accordance with local environmental regulations.
  12. Record the service date and engine hours in your maintenance log for future reference.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Q: How do I confirm this service kit fits my specific Suzuki engine?
A: Cross-reference your engine model with the compatibility table above. You can also verify by checking your current OEM part number (8M0222305) or consulting the Suzuki parts diagrams linked in the Compatible Engine Models section to ensure all components match your engine configuration.

Q: How often should I replace the filters and gaskets in this service kit?
A: Follow Suzuki's recommended maintenance schedule, typically every 100 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first. The fuel filter and oil filter should be replaced at each service interval, while lower unit gaskets should be replaced whenever the lower unit is serviced or gear oil is changed.

Q: Can I use this aftermarket service kit instead of buying individual OEM parts?
A: Yes, this kit bundles all essential service components that meet OEM specifications, offering convenience and value. Each component is manufactured to match the quality and fitment of the original Suzuki parts, and the kit is produced in an ISO9002-certified facility.

Q: What are the signs that I need to perform this service on my outboard?
A: Common indicators include decreased engine performance, difficulty starting, unusual engine noise, visible fuel or oil leaks, discolored gear oil, or reaching your scheduled maintenance interval. Regular preventive maintenance using this kit helps avoid costly repairs.

Q: Is the gear oil pump reusable, or is it single-use?
A: The gear oil pump (24OP149) included in this kit is reusable. Clean it thoroughly after each use and store it properly for future lower unit service needs.

Q: What's the difference between OEM and aftermarket service kits?
A: This listing is an aftermarket replacement part (not an OEM component). We build to OEM specifications using comparable-grade materials. Production is done in an ISO9002-certified facility, and each batch is inspected for consistent performance.

Q: How fast do you ship and how much does it cost?
A: We offer fast global shipping—typically 5–15 days worldwide—and standard shipping is free. Expedited options are available at checkout depending on your location.

Q: What is your warranty and return policy?
A: This product includes a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If something goes wrong, contact our support team with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard return window (unused & in original condition); please see our policy page or reach out for instructions.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
